Lucky for me, I have reached the point in life when my friends have kids old enough to be in the Boy and Girl Scouting programs.
My friend Aundrea's daughter Emma is a Girl Scout, so I ordered 3 boxes of thin mints (my favorite).
Not even kidding, delivery day on Monday was kind of like Christmas for me.
I anticipate eating one sleeve per day, if I can muster that kind of personal restraint.
Mmm, it's gonna be a delicious six days...
What is your favorite flavor of Girl Scout cookies?
We haven't ordered GS cookies in years. Mostly because we cannot exercise the restraint needed with those things and will eat our entire order within days. I love samoas (the coconut chewy ones), the tagalongs (PB) and the thin mints. so tasty! good luck sticking to one sleeve per day. that's what we eat in one sitting. :)
ReplyDeleteWell that's pretty impressive that you have the restraint to not buy GS cookies in the first place; I don't even have that!
DeleteSamoas and thin mints are my favorite. Fortunately (unfortunately?) some Girl Scouts and their moms were selling outside of my grocery store yesterday so I bought some after all! I debated, but when I realized they are actually less expensive than their Keebler counterparts, I decided the bargain was worth it. I can freeze them for later after all ;)
ReplyDeleteThat was smart to get extras, and I'm going to have to test out these cheaper Keebler alternatives in the near future, since I already chomped all my GS cookies haha
DeleteI love thin mint and samoa. I have 2 boxes of thin mints and used a few crushed up in chocolate cookies. They were delicious. Mmm. Now I want to eat more.
ReplyDeleteUm, adding crushed up GS thin mints into choc chip cookies might be the most genius thing (or a travesty, since thin mints are harmed in the making). I've gotta try it.
