Couldn't miss the opportunity to get down to DC's Tidal Basin and take some pictures with the new camera.
It's the 100-year anniversary of when Japan gave the U.S. the cherry blossom trees as a gift.
I really like these next two, with their alternating focal distances. Yay for the D-SLR!

That weekend it rained a bunch, so I don't know how many blossoms remained afterwards.
Hopefully you were able to see them in person, or maybe next year!
