Metallica Monday: Iron Man (Black Sabbath cover)

I'm a sucker for superhero movies, which is why I'm stoked for this movie to come out May 4th.

Ironman, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Captain America, and the Hulk face off against Loki (Thor's adoptive brother and archenemy). This is gonna be good.

In honor of The Avengers, a Black Sabbath cover by Metallica gets this week's nod:

Iron Man

John Carter and The Hunger Games are also on my must-see list in the next little while.

    I don't go to movies that often (Read: hardly ever..can't even remember the last movie I saw in theaters...oh wait, it was Harry Potter. Sorry, I digress) but if I did go, it would be to see The Hunger Games.

    In preparation for The Avengers movie, I've been rewatching all of the single-character ones. In the last week I've finished Iron Man 1 and 2, and Captain America. The Hulk (which I haven't seen at all yet), is next in my Netflix queue. I'm so excited!

    Cheri, I completely agree that Hunger Games will be worth the price of admission (and I haven't even read the books yet).

    Megan, that is such a great idea! I wasn't the biggest fan of the Hulk movies, but watching each character's backstory is a great way to amp up for their joint adventure!

    Yeah, I didn't care for the Eric Bana movie (although I like him otherwise), but I've heard better things about the one with Liv Tyler, plus, I don't want to miss ANY possible inside jokes during the Avengers. Good times, good movies.
