I like things and stuff. I grew up in the 80's and 90's. If that's familiar to you, then you're in good company here.

Not Duck Beach... It's Marco Island!
When you've got to get away from the hectic work life, it's nice to have some friends to go with. And it's also nice to have a place that you won't have to pay to stay at, especially if it's a place that's really sunny and warm and happens to be on the beach. Peter, Sam, Elizabeth, Leah (Sam's friend), and I all went down to Marco Island, Florida, for a week of fun in the sun. Sam's parents were nice enough to let us stay at their beach condo. We flew into Ft. Lauderdale and drove our rental car across the Everglades. Our main activities were sunning and eating. Just how a successful beach vacation should be. We also went on an airboat ride, to a good ol' Southern Sunday brewskie-fest at Stan's Buzzards Bay South (which happens to be the home of the Mullet Festival), on a moped tour of the island (killing two of our mopeds in the process), and for a nice dinner which was served to us by an American Gladiator. We came back from Florida a bit more relaxed and hopefully a lot more tan.
