Rainy Babies

Deloitte is big on raising money for charities, and I've been in on a couple different fund-raising efforts so far this year. One has been to raise funds for the March of Dimes, which does research on premature births and related issues. Along with the money, often there is some event. For this one, a large group walk was scheduled, but it was raining pretty hard when Becca, Arianne, and I drove to the site.After a short discussion, we unanimously decided that our financial contribution would be sufficient, and that walking three miles in the rain was unnecessary. Our nice, warm, dry ride home was wonderful and we'll be back next year.
