First Week at Deloitte

Just as I was taught, I picked out my first day outfit the night before so it'd be ready to go in the morning. I went with the basic accountant style. Nothing too flashy. Just classic.

Day One

Week one of training was local office training at the Tyson's Corner Hilton in McLean, VA. It was just around the corner from the office, so I just drove there in the morning and home at the end of the day. It wasn't particularly exciting, especially since most of it was online courses that I'd taken last year at the start of my internship.

The best part of local training was meeting a new group of coworkers (there were about 50 of us in this training session). We come from lots of different places, mostly along the east coast, and lots of different backgrounds, so we have some pretty fun conversations at lunch.
