But I'm happy to declare that Bernie Sanders has my support for the Democratic nomination.
As with all the candidates, there are some points of Bernie's that I'm not 100% on board with, or that I don't understand the details and steps to achieve his promises/goals.
What I do know, is that I agree with how and why he wants to get things done.
Bernie wants to represent the American people, not just the wealthy constituents and their lobbyists.
Sadly, that is a refreshing change from what we've become used to in U.S. politics.
Bernie has been saying the same things for decades of his political service.
His views on equality and rights haven't changed over time, based on pollsters findings or recent campaign contributors.
To be fair, I'll admit I don't know everything about every candidate.
There are pros and cons of each person seeking their party's nomination.
But as of now, Bernie's got my vote.
