Songs for Morning Voice

Don't you just love deep morning voice?
You know, when you wake up and your voice is far lower than normal?
Because I do, and I relish in it.
Bueller? Bueller?
As I was singing in the shower today, which I do on a semi-regular (ok, clockwork regular) basis, I realized there are certain songs I prefer for getting optimal use out of my morning voice.

Winners
"Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm" by Crash Test Dummies

"I Love this Bar" by Toby Keith

"Can't Get Enough of Your Love" by Barry White

"Why Don't We Just Dance" by Josh Turner

Honorable mention
"I'm Too Sexy" by Right Said Fred

So, readers, what's your favorite morning voice song?

  1. I usually sing show tunes for my 'unicorn' roles, but lately I've been singing Adele and 'Glee'...

Your songs are so much cooler than mine...I'm such a nerd. :)

  2. I normally bust out Taylor Swift songs. They're great!

  3. I don't know what 'unicorn' roles are, but I can see Adele and Glee being good shower songs. Taylor Swift, too. Though I think my morning voice might be too low...

  4. I totally love morning voice. In fact, some of my girlfriends and I gave ourselves morning voice dude names. I believe mine was Kristoff. I don't know why, okay? This was many years ago. As for a good song to sing w/ that voice? How about a little Ol' Man River? :)
