The Washington Wizards have made the playoffs for the past couple years, but they can't seem to get past LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. My friend Elizabeth helped organize a group of us Deloitte employees to go together to Game 6 of the 1st Round of the NBA Playoffs, and I figured it would be a lot of fun to see Arenas vs. LeBron. I got an extra ticket for Judi to come along as well, which was fun because it was the first NBA game she'd ever been to.
The game was pretty good, mostly in the second half is when the action picked up. Judi and I missed a decent portion of the 3rd quarter due to trying to get food and being in a slooooooowwwww line (insert grumbling here). Isn't that always the way it is, though? In the end, LeBron and his crew again proved to be too much for the Wizards and Cleveland moved on to the next round, while the Wizards again get to watch the rest of the playoffs from home.
