My friend Erica invited me to join her and some friends in seeing the touring cast of "Hairspray" at the Warner Theatre. I enjoy a good musical every now and then, so I agreed and we went to the show.
When we got our programs, I glanced through the performers' names and was floored to see Brooklynn Pulver as the lead character. Brook and I went to high school together and she was good friends with my sister. She gave a terrific performance (they all did) and we were fortunate enough to have her come out for a few minutes after the show and we chatted until she had to head out for the hotel. What a small world this is, eh?
Oh Aaron, I miss you so much! I'm totally jealous that you got to see Brook on stage -- I have no doubt she was terrific. Good to see you're making the most of your adventure in Washington D.C. I'm so proud of who you are and all you've accomplished!
