Some people wish they could return to Guatemala where they served (me), and some people get to go to Guatemala and serve now (Anne). As she is leaving soon to live and volunteer down there, a dessert party was held in her honor [and her roommate's honor, as she's also leaving the area]. We wish you the best of luck, Anne! There were lots of friends there, and it really made me think about how lucky I am to be surrounded by such good people and how I don't express my gratitude for them as often as I should. So to you friends reading this, I want to thank you for being there for me. For helping me to be a better person. And for enriching my life though your wisdom, compassion, and humor.
